Feeling like SUCH a failure as a mom.

Im a single first time mom and feel like such a failure right now.

I did all the book reading and research imaginable before baby but one thing I somehow never came across is the fact that baby should be on his tummy since being a newborn to encourage back support etc.

My son is 10.5 months now and he isnt crawling. Hes shuffling side to side alot while on his tummy but cant fully grasp moving FORWARD.

His doc isnt worried at all though and said he may just skip it.

He sits up and plays fine, sometimes falls back but gets back up to sit again, most of the time successfully.

I feel like its all my fault. For not having him on his tummy consistently enough since birth.

Did I ruin my son or something? Im a mess and so worried now. Especially since I know crawling is the step before walking.

And yes, nobody told me this at all. I take full responsibility but just... I feel so so hurt right now and blaming myself is making me cry so much.
