How long?

Me and my husband will be starting our ivf process in hopefully the next couple months. We already have our plan set just needed a little time befor we actually start the process. Our dr has already let us know it will be a frozen transfer. So I am curious if anyone has had a frozen transfer how long the process took? My dr said the whole thing will take a month or so? But I also read on Google a frozen transfer takes about 3 weeks? I’m new to all this so was just curious if you have done frozen transfer how long the process was thanks!

I started stims at the end of March, had my retrival April 6, had a period, then on May 8 started prep for my FET. Had another period and will have my FET next week. So a little over 2 months from the time i started meds, as a reference.

Best case scenario you’d likely be looking at about 6 weeks.    Stim, retrieve, freeze, prep and transfer.  
However.  That’s it everything is perfect in place.   I personally would prepare yourself for 2-3 months.

I had ER on 12/6. Transferred on 2/26 due to getting covid and taking a month off. If nor I would have transferred in January

After all the initial testing I started stims at the end if November for about 10 days. I had my er on December 4th, did pgt testing and transferred on February 1st. Unfortunately my first transfer ended in a chemical pregnancy. After that I needed another ssg test. I transferred again on May 4th. That was just my personal experience, but I scheduled every appointment on the soonest day I was able to keep the ball rolling.

For me I started stims end of April and my transfer isn’t until end of July. But it’s all prep work. I started birth control a week after egg retrieval when my period started. Then will be starting lupron injections in one week. Then estrogen shots beginning of July.
