When to introduce real milk to baby

Hello moms, my son is turning 1 on July 23rd of this year so less than 2 months away! I plan on giving him real milk once he turns 1. Do I slowly introduce it to him now or just wait till he turns 1 and ditch the formula all together ? Thanks in advance!

I personally gave my kid milk a few times but she hated it so I went with yogurt and other things to substitute for her milk. She drank water and occasionally some juice and maybe would drink a cup of milk idk lol she's doing fine. We drink almond milk now she's 3 almost 4 her father and I have bad issues with dairy and she seems to get real constipated when she has it too. Cows milk isn't really necessary or even good for humans it's meant for a calf. We aren't cows

Idk why but calling it “real milk” made me snort laugh. 
Just give a little bit at a time and keep an eye out for any allergy signs over the course of a few days

Technically it’s “real milk” for baby cows loll but cow milk can be ok for your baby but try it out to see if he would even like it.

I started by cutting my daughter's formula with milk but only because I weaned early and wanted her to still get a bit of formula. You can just switch though especially if they've had other dairy products and never had an issue.

I waited until my daughter was one and then for the first few days did half formula/half whole milk and then switched to all whole milk to transition her to the taste difference.

Hey momma my lo is going to be one on July 1 and I introduced milk like 2 weeks ago and he’s been doing great I do 4 bottles when he wakes up I do 8 oz fórmula second and third bottle I do whole milk 7 oz and last bottle I do 8 oz formula

My son turns 1 on the 24. He absolutely refuses to drink formula.. so he drinks mainly apple juice now and I got him the pediatrician drinks. He’s like them. I put “real” vitamin D milk in his cereal (oatmeal) he likes it

If babe doesn't have a milk allergy you can go cold turkey. My daughter hated milk so I had to wean her
