Any else had the same advice?

Hello, I don't post very often, but i have had a conversation with my gp this afternoon.  I have just found out I'm pregnant and worried about covid 19 jab. They have advise me not to have it, as I completely understand,as they haven't had much study and don't want to put my my at risk, but also I don't want to put my baby at risk as I'm not having it? Any one else had this?

Any practitioner I’ve met recommends the vaccine to pregnant women. So far there it has been shown in clinical trials to be safe and effective, and babies are even being born with covid antibodies to vaccinated mothers.
Whether or not you choose to get it in pregnancy is a personal choice, but I’m very surprised that your doctor recommended against it with no evidence to show that it’s unsafe.

I’m also very surprised that your doctor recommended against it. If this was your primary care provider I would seek a second opinion from your OB! 
I have the vaccine while pregnant with no issues, and I have since had our baby. I know many other women that I’ve gotten it while pregnant to and all of their doctors recommended it. Both my OB and my babies pediatrician recommended I get it while pregnant.￼￼
