Potty Training?

How old were your kids when you started potty training them? My daughter is always taking her diaper off and hates having her diaper changed. I was just wondering how soon is too soon?

Then start!  I let my daughter pick when she was ready and she did it herself!! She went to the park saw the big girls wearing undies came home n said i go bare bummy mommy  She was early 2. She has never had a daytime accident. She took an extra month where she wanted to poop in a diaper which was fine and one night after she finished with the poop diapers she said no diaper to bed she wokeup at 4 wet we changed her n went back to bed she never wet the bed again!

My son is two and we’ve been introducing it for a few months. We don’t push it and just let him decide. I figure he will potty train when he is ready!

My son is 18mo and his daycare told me he is ready and asked if they can start trying while he’s there. He asks to “potty” at home and will pull down his pants. He’s also talking about his poop now. He hasn’t had many successes but we’re fine going slow.

We used the book “Oh Crap! Potty training” and started a couple of months after he turned 2. He was literally potty trained in less than 2 weeks. He wasn’t showing many signs other than being difficult to change his diapers and he wasn’t really talking, but he took to it right away. I think between 20-30 months is usually ideal.

Every kid is different. We started introducing around 18 month and just took it easy, no pressure. She was potty trained just after two. 
She wore cloth diapers, and I’ve heard that can impact how early they learn to use the potty.

I’m about to start with my son who’s nearly 22 months. He gets the concept of it as he’s sat on the potty many times he just gets scared of it lol
