Has anyone been told or learning of a connection between COVID & infertility?

Question

My husband & I have a daughter who’s about to be 2 & we got pregnant right away after I came off BC. Well we’ve been trying again starting back early May. My period is 14 days late & all test are negative. We got Covid back in October 2020 from my husband’s job. Well now that we’re trying again we’re beginning to wonder if it could be because of that. Obviously it’s too see to really have any real research. I was just wondering if anyone’s OBs had said anything or medical professionals here heard of anything. Just curious. Thanks

If you’ve only been trying since May, it’s now June. That’s one cycle. It can take twelve months or longer of active trying (tracking ovulation) for the healthiest couples to conceive. There is 0 reason to believe you have any fertility issues at this point. If you had been trying to 12+ months, then yes I would recommend speaking to your doctor about running tests. 
TTC is a marathon, not a sprint. Don’t get discouraged. It can take awhile since it requires perfect timing/conditions for a fertilized healthy egg to implant.

I haven’t seen anything about women but I have seen some literature that suggests that COVID may have long term effects on male fertility.

It can take a healthy couple up to a year or longer to conceive, this time round can take longer than when you conceived with your first! 
I very much doubt Covid has caused infertility, ( I had Covid in January and conceived in February after TTC for 3 years)
If your not tracking your ovulation, I suggest starting to pinpoint when your ovulating!
And just be patient

Having covid it self I have not heard it decreasing ur fertility but I have heard the vaccine can have an effect on a women's fertility specific with several other issues for women, but like we all know not every woman is the same and I'd different for every person. That's part of the reason I am waiting to get vaccinated just in case but still taking the other neccessary precautions. Hope this helps. Praying for yall and stick in there.

I had covid October/ November 2020, nearly got hospitalized as my oxygen didn't go over 88% anymore while resting, dropped to 82% while doing a few stairs (bedroom to couch), so yeah had it quite bad. 
We stopped BC December, started tracking in January and conceived in February so it went quite smooth

I didn’t hear about covid causing infertility but heard the vaccine caused a lot of women to have irregular periods and such. I had covid and am now pregnant so who knows

Secondary fertility issues really suck. I got pregnant first try with my first.  It took me 10 months with an mc to conceive my 2nd baby. Just be patient and seek help after a year.
