I just left my partner

I am sick of it … she ruined my birthday.

She normally works Monday -Friday full time.. and my birthday fell on a Friday, and my friends planned a little breakfast birthday date for me. We all have kids the same age.. so while they played, we had a platter and my friend made me this amazing cake. It was a really nice morning. I told my partner I would be back by 1130AM to put my daughter to sleep. We were there from 9am.

Anyways 15 minutes before I was coming home, my partner said she was going to take her friend to the shop ( her friend broke her foot ) which is fine.. I said ok no worries.

My partner didn’t get home till 2pm… nor did my partner get me anything for my birthday so she was clearly looking the day of my birthday.. which made me feel a bit shit seeming she had weeks or even months to buy me something.

By the time she got home at 2pm , by 4pm I had to drop my daughter at my parents house as they were having her for the night so me and my partner could go do something for my birthday.

By the time I got home was 545pm and she was In such a bad mood, barely spoke to me, made my birthday night a living hell.. asked her what’s wrong, and she said “ why don’t you love me” I said what do you mean? I legit was singing and trying to talk to her in the car … I was so confused.

She said I was on my phone ONCE!!! To check my birthday msgs from friends and family .. I clearly wasn’t allowed by the looks.

Anyways the night was over and by the next morning she woke up all happy, like nothing was wrong anymore.. that made me feel like shit.. and then today I said to her I think we need a break I dnt understand why you ruined my birthday but the next day your all happy .. and a different person .. she said cause today’s a new day …. I was gobsmacked. She said I didn’t appreciate her on my birthday … I’m think WHATTT!! And she said she isn’t valued..

I do everything for her .. I cook, I clean, I do her washing , I do EVERYTHING. Plus take care of a toddler everyday..

she ruined my birthday cause it wasn’t all about her .

Am I in the wrong? Cause She’s really confusing me .
