My husband apologized to both my parents

So this is an update post. I'm been going through a lot. Anyone who doesn't know. I found out my husband cheated and our son died from am OD super close together. One minute I find out my husband cheated. The next we are making a discussion whether to pull the plug on our 19 year old. Bury my child was the worst thing I've ever had to do. I chose to stay with my husband. We sold our house and moved back to Texas in with his mom. We ate both in grieving therapy and marriage counseling. He tells me everyday he wished he dies instead of our son. He left Friday and I had no idea where he went. Come to find out he went to my parents. They had no idea about the affair. He told them " I cheated on your daughter and I'm so sorry I hurt her and I'm sure I hurt you guys." My mom said he was crying and begged to have their blessing again. My mom and dad sat down with him and they said the reason they gave it to him is because they could tell he was really sorry. And my dad is a great judge of character. Trying to build our marriage back up has been hard but I don't think it's impossible. I still love him and want to make it work.

Edit: Plz understand I don't want any opinions on me staying with my husband. Some may think I'm stupid for these decisions I've made, but I'm doing what feels right. He definitely hurt me. And I personally appreciate him apologizing to my parents. I know lots of people think cheating is a deal breaker but this is a choice I made.
