What age can my baby sleep in a toddler bed ?

We’re in a 1 bedroom apartment and I’m 31 weeks pregnant. She has always slept in bed with me and my husband but now it’s getting way too uncomfortable for me. She sleeps sideways halfway through the night and last night kicked me in the stomach multiple times. 
I’m wondering if we can get her a toddler bed and put it in our room? Or if we just should do a pack n play

A toddler bed is literally a crib without the rails. You can use a toddler bed but of course understanding that she can get out and walk around etc. I personally never used a toddler bed. You can get a crib and take 1 side off if you really want them to be able to get in and out on their own.  If you want something more confining, I would get a crib.  A pack n play just doesn't make sense to me at that age.

Put my 13 month old in a toddler bed in my room. It had rails and he never had an issue. We are going to move the bed to his own room now that hes not waking up and night anymore at 16mons

Yea, you can. It will likely take some time to get her to stay in it. I know someone whose child wouldn’t stay in a crib at that age so they moved him to a toddler bed. He was fine.

I put my daughter in one at 17 months. She does great! She’s now 19 months
