Strangulation

I want to say first hand my boyfriend does not come home and beat me on the daily. Things only escalate if I upset him. This is the second occurrence he has choked me in the past two weekends. He does it multiple times in one day if I have said or done the wrong thing. He apologized and told me that he doesn’t like what he has become and that I deserve better but he doesn’t want me to leave him. This all started a year or two ago and at first it was a shove here and there and now it’s come to this. I guess my question is, will he do it again? I know these bruises aren’t insane like others go through so I’m just looking for insight. Thank you
