Can anyone talk to me about pregnancy cholestasis?

I’m so itchy everywhere including palms and soles. Going for blood work this week and really hoping everything is ok but what can i expect if i do have cholestasis?

Hello, when I was pregnant I use to be itchy mostly everywhere on my body. There was no rash, my doctor would tell me that it was normal to itch throughout pregnancy but as weeks went by I kept telling her I was still itchy and no rash. Also the itching would happen all day even sometimes when I slept. I got blood work done and turns out I had cholestasis. The only symptom I had was itching. I had to be induced when I turned 37 weeks and now my baby is 3 months :). Good thing you’re getting blood work done !!

Itching in the palms and soles is indicative of an allergic reaction. No other part of the body has nearly as many histamine receptors as those parts. Is there anything in your daily routine that could've changed? New laundry/dish soap, new pets, new foods?
