Interview.. typical or?

I interviewed today on the phone for a position that I really have my heart set on. I personally feel like it went well. I spoke to the recruiter and the assistant manager. I felt like we all three connected and the assistant manager and I were even laughing together a couple times. She went over which shift I’d prefer and if I was okay with the pay scale etc. at the end she said “we have a few more interviews today and we will let you know by Friday” this may be typical... right? Part of me thinks the worst and that I was eliminated
