Anybody had this happen?

Just left my doctors appointment I’m 37w 4d and baby’s measurements is at 40w 1d she’s sending a referral to another office to have an ultrasound done to get better measurements. This makes me nervous. Anybody had this happen?

My baby was measuring big at the 20week ultrasound so I had another scan today at 32 weeks and he’s still huge (measuring close to 36 weeks). Because of his size I’m going to be induced at 39 weeks so he doesn’t continue to get too big to deliver after that. So for you the ultrasound is likely to get a better idea of size to see what is safest for you and baby for your upcoming delivery. Good luck!

It’s pretty common as ultrasound measurements that late can be off by a decent amount.
