6 month old vomiting

My last Tuesday I fed my son some turkey and rice puree at about 630 and nursed him and put him to bed some time between 7-8 and around 9 the big he start projectile vomiting and then continued to dry heave and only get up stomach acid until about midnight. He nursed at midnight and then was fine after that. Tonight at around 7ish I fed him some fruit with cereal puree (it was packaged with the cereal in it, I didn't add it) and then nursed him around 830 now again at 930 he projectile vomited and is now dry heaving and getting small bits of acid up. What the heck do you think is going on? I thought maybe he wasn't ready for meat so I stopped giving him purees with meat in it but now I'm wondering if it's the grain? Is this how babies react to an allergy? There's no rash or fever. In between throwing up he's lethargic but it's past his bed time and throwing up is exhausting. He's a little sweaty and clamy. I'm so confused.
