Ear piercing infection

So I apologize for the gross info but I need to ask. So I have my ear pierced and not too long ago around the hole of my piercing there is like dried I guess puss or something? I don't really know but it also hurts like it is sore. So I am sure it is a infection but I don't know what to do about it because for looking up ways to heal it, it says not to remove the earring and also not to use hydrogen peroxide but that's how we usually clean piercings at my place. I just need some outside advice, anyone can help me out??
