Baby bath and crib 2nd hand - advice pls

Hi There Mamas!
I would love some advice! 
I have been offered (very kindly) some baby equipment- a cot and a baby bath. The bath is different to what I have been looking at, so I wondered if anyone else has used it and likes it/ hates it? I will attach a pic.
Secondly, for the cot- it was used by family member - would you order a new mattress or just disinfect and new cover? Or even steam?

I bought a crib secondhand off Facebook. It is great! $100 and came with a mattress. I didn’t worry about cleaning it as it was new to the previous family and they didn’t smoke or have pets inside. In fact, my biggest issue with it was that they used some sort of diffuser or something and the mattress had a scent to it (not unpleasant, but it definitely smelled). After a few months in the nursery, it aired out. She sleeps great on it.

Personally, I would replace the mattress but that’s just for safety reasons (I believe it’s recommended to replace with every child). The bath looks like something my twins would of loved, they hated reclining in the bath. My newest LO hates baths and will scream the whole time, so he’s currently only taking showers.

That bath looks like a big mixing bowl to me but it could be great. As far as the crib, my husband has a daughter from a previous relationship, before they even used the crib she left with their daughter so we just washed the mattress and I always keep two sheets on it, just because I’m lazy
