It's done!

The nightmare is over.

I have resigned.

No more screaming at my laptop wondering what on earth these people are doing. No more getting shouted at for things that weren't my fault.

I told her it was for financial reasons, which also isn't a total lie. I mean I know for a fact she's sent her CV out, because she's looking for a job that pays more.

Of course she's saying she's heart broken. Asking what about our goals, saying that there must be another way, that we can both get part time jobs rather (I mean that just shows you, that she thinks two people can put in half the effort and still run the company).

I have explained to her the company is not failing. The company is just going through a rough patch. I don't want her to now want to close the company and try rope me into helping her close it.

I just don't want her to decide she wants to close the company and get me to help her do it, but at the same time I know she doesn't have other options (this is why I did it now, before she has options. Her previous work experience is in a call centre and most call centre jobs now are non existent thanks to COVID).
