C-Section Healing
Had my baby boy June 12, via emergency c-section.
He was in NICU the first couple of days and I saw him about 3 times during recovery.
Was released as the ward was over capacity due to unexpected deliveries on the promise to return for follow up appointments when booked.
I don’t have an appointment till the 29th, this is my first baby and csection but I’m in excruciating pain on my left side. I can’t walk or stand up straight as it feels like I’m being stabbed when I do.
The pain isn’t part of the incision site it’s the muscle/nerve area above and up to belly button area, as long as I don’t move I don’t feel pain but once I sit or stand or walk I’m bent over in pain.
Also my lower back is still numb from the epidural, I can feel pressure if someone pushes on my back but can’t feel is someone is scratching it or touching it normally.
Is this a common thing? Will it go away?
