Is a fresh or frozen transfer best?

Is there a difference in the success rates? I’m so impatient and just want a transfer but is there a higher chance with a frozen embryo?

I would suggest talking with your doctor. Not everyone has the same protocol, nor the same issues causing fertility. Some women respond better with frozen and some respond better with fresh. When I talked with my doctor, he had told me the chances would be about the same for either way. If you’re wanting to test your embryos, then frozen is the way to go. Frozen also give your body a chance to recover after the stims and retrieval. A fresh transfer is typically 5 days after retrieval, but sometimes can be 3 days. Again, all depends on your doc and protocol. 
I did a fresh transfer first but it didn’t not work, didn’t even implant. We believe that embryo was abnormal as the remaining 5 sent off for PGT testing came back normal. My first frozen took.

Statistically frozen has a slightly better chance, but every woman/body/situation is different. The general belief is ny waiting you can allow your body to heal and rid itself of all the extra hormones AND create the best possible environment for an embryo to implant.
I can understand not wanting to wait - we did a frozen transfer and backed it out an additional month for a long planned vacation. I was ready to take all the meds and everything on the plane with me. My husband and family talked me out of it, the vacation was for relaxation and ultimately I had waited so long, what was one more month? So begrudgingly I listened and as a result of that transfer I have a 1.5 year old. Yes, a month can seem like forever but if your doctor thinks it's more likely to be successful then it is worth it. Statistically frozen transfers are more successful. My clinic very rarely does fresh transfers.

It depends if you want to test the embryos or not. And you also have to have good lining if you want to do a fresh

A slightly higher chance with frozen. Fresh is more typically preferred if embroy quality is poor and there is concern about getting multiple embryos to blast. Some clinics don't do fresh transfers
