Baby is here!

Baby is here in dramatic fashion!

Got woken up by some contractions around midnight. Fell back asleep. Around 2:40ish I woke up again and they were worse. Started timing around 3am. They were 5 minutes apart. At 3:30 we started gathering stuff up to leave. 4:15 walked into triage. They checked me and went “oh my gosh you’re at 8cm!” Charge nurse told them to just take me to a labor room even though none of the admission blood work wasn’t back. They called the OB and anesthesiologist. Anesthesiologist had just been called back to a csection my nurse looked me in the eye and said “we may just have to have this baby.” About 5 minutes later I was like I have to push. 3 pushes and he was out.
