Can I just go to any church by myself?

I am at the brink. I just need something. I wanted to go to church but I have nobody to go with. 
Please do not judge me for resorting to religion but I need something. I need people. But I mean I’d be going to some random church, as a new person, by myself, no idea what’s going on. I just want to go but I’m scared

Yes! I went to church alone and was free to just sit and be in my own headspace. After months of feeling low and staying high every night and drinking to numb everything I randomly woke up one day and was like I want to try church. I would say get involved. Join a small group or help out with youth. When I helped out with the youth group I was able to find a church family. I met my husband the first day I volunteered (married a year later). I joined a small group that taught a course called “Freedom”, I made life long friends and was able to let go of lot of past trauma I didn’t even know I had. But most importantly I realized that no matter what my past was that I am forgiven and I don’t need to carry the shame I once held so close because Jesus died to cover those sins. Since going that first time my life had completely changed. All this to say if you’re feeling called to go then go. You never know what will be waiting for you on the other side. There is no harm in trying something new that’s good(: The church I went to was so open and accepting. I would recommend a nondenominational church💕

First off... DO NOT be afraid of people jumping you for going to church! Going by yourself can be a little scary but the right church should welcome you as family. There's no need to be worrying girl! Good luck :))
