How do I respond?

One of my friends had a baby and invited our friend group over to meet them. I had texted my best friend to see what time it was and mentioned I had to see if I could borrow a car. I mentioned my fiancé’s had his cousins birthday so wouldn’t be attending.

An hour before the event I had a family emergency so I had to cancel on going to my friends. I texted him separately. My friend responded today apologizing saying it was crazy trying to get out yesterday and she was sorry I couldn’t make it to the party, and she hopes the birthday was fun.

I ended up attending the birthday after my family emergency because I couldn’t borrow a car to get to my friends. I don’t know if my best friend knows about the family emergency. How do I respond? I’m wondering if she’s fishing to see if I went to the birthday or not.
