Anyone else find living with men infuriating?

They don’t clean up after themselves and I swear they need help making something a simple as a microwaveable meal or salad 😭 I feel like a mother.
And for those judging and thinking I picked a manchild… no, it’s just my brother and dad and it makes me dread moving in with a boyfriend. I never want to live with a man ever again 😂

Can’t relate. My husband is fully independent. If I died tomorrow, he could run this house, care for these pets, and raise these kids in my absence. He’s a true partner in life.

Don't have that experience. My husband does a large majority of the housework and can cook for himself and the household any time. His parents taught him to take care of himself and we set our expectations together for both being productive adults.

It can be. My fiancé knows how to clean, cook and do laundry. It's not just the "knowing" how to do it..... It's ACTUALLY doing it 😒. My partner can cook anything you want.... And that's where it ends... That's his chore....the kitchen...The scale is not balanced.. I totally feel you on this.

This is a huge generalization. My husband helps cook and clean. Yea he tends to be messier than me, but he always picks up after himself. Just because your dad and brother are messy and don't cook doesn't mean your boyfriend will be the same.

I live with my husband and a male roommate. Now my husband cleans up after himself if I ask but our roommate.... oh my lord. He leaves TRASH NEXT TO THE TRASH CAN. and after work he leaves his bag of lunch that he needs to throw out ON THE COUNTERS!!! He leaves cups out everywhere and there’s always juice stuck to the bottom and he doesn’t rinse his dishes out anyway and anytime he tries to do house chores they’re so pitifully done that I have to go in behind him and do them again!! So yeah, I get your frustration... and if my roommate wasn’t a friend of mine (and if I didn’t need the shared income lol) then he’d be out

yesss lol my boyfriend drives me crazy sometimes. i hate when i straighten up the living room and he’ll leave stuff around or leave stuff on the table after i just cleaned it.

Thankfully my husband is self sufficient. He actually does the cooking and on off days will help clean. 
My brothers were the same (they do clean and cook now) and I blame my parents because they were old fashioned "men don't do the housework." Epecially if I'm working too, better believe we are sharing the workload !
