New boyfriend doesn’t want a baby

I’ve started seeing someone and it’s been a few months now. We are perfect together. Everything is just so good and I never expected to find someone and something like this, I had given up hope.

I know it’s very early days but we were just talking about the future and I ask in a very general way if he wants kids. His response is that he really doesn’t know and has never thought about it or been in a position to think about it.

Now I’m nearly 30 and I’m so ready to find someone to settle down with and start a family (obviously not immediately but in the nearish future) Should I be worried that I’m wasting my time?? Will he ever change his mind or am I going to find myself at a dead end further down the line????
