First birthday ideas. How did you plan with Covid?

My little one hasn’t been around a huge group of people since Covid so I’m thinking something small. I don’t want to do 3-4 separate parties with extended family it would be way too much. What are some ideas you guys did? I don’t really want it at our house, we have a small house and my husbands sister has 5 kids that I don’t need trashing our home. It’s going to be in august and we live in the south so it might be too hot to do something outside? Ahh Idk! Ideally I would’ve thrown a huge party but with Covid that’s out of the question
