My RE is a devil 👿

Long story short hubby and I had planned to start

IVF

this summer due to having 2 failed IUIs previously. Well... the month after the second FAILED

IUI

we got pregnant on our own!!!! I messaged my RE on the portal with the great news and of course the nurse for the doctor will either respond or forward to the doctor for review.

Well, in this instance it was both! The nurse congratulated me and in the email the nurse mentioned that she is copying my doctor to forward her the good news🎉

The doctor didn’t congratulate me instead she seemed pissed because we got pregnant on our own 🥺 The doctor was just very direct and straight to business.

The day after contacting the doctor I was scheduled for lab work at 13dpo. My hcg level was 15 at 13 dpo.. The doctor called me with the results and was like “ I’m not to optimistic with this pregnancy because your number is really low. She even went on to tell me that I will miscarry soon and blah blah blah. I was so f*ckin’ crushed hearing this from her as I have never had this type of problem with her in the past.

She then requested that I do another hcg test this morning (48 hours later). I just checked the portal and my levels more than doubled, they came back at 40.2!!!!!!

While waiting at the appt for this morning she sent this message through the portal..... (MY RESPONSE IS ON TOP)

Mind you she has already sent the lovenox prescription to my pharmacy on Monday....

My husband and I both agree that after this pregnancy we will be finding a new specialist.

Note: I’ve been with this RE for 3 years TTC# 1 and we had this game plan to begin lovenox from the beginning because of the IGM antibody elevating during my pregnancy. So I’m just waiting to hear back!!

Ladies, struggling with infertility is hard enough. Do not put up with BS. if you feel you’re not getting the help you need it’s time to find a new doc. Sorry, just needed to vent.
