Is it normal for your boyfriend/husband to brag to strangers when they do something nice for you??

So I’m not complaining I’m just wondering. So my fiancé every time he buys me flowers or buys me anything while he’s at the store he will tell other women about that he’s buying me flowers are doing something for me. The other day he went to Ulta and bought me a bath bomb and some candles. And he said while he was at ulta he told a girl what he was planning on doing for me. and he always brags saying women are telling him he’s an amazing man. Is this normal? Is he just doing these nice things so he could brag to random women?
