Weaning my 18 month old, so emotional!

I’ve decided to start weaning my 18 month old girl for many reasons (medical, starting daycare, no more older sibling waiting)

It’s so emotional, this is the hardest to go through for me.

She went down after 20 min for her nap and no nursing for 3 days now. She had the biggest frown face tho when I started singing instead or taking her to the nursing chair.

She has become extra clingy with her stuffed animals, death grip holding them. Tonight she did the most adorable thing during our bedtime nursing session. She started to pretend to nurse (held up the stuffed animal to my breast) while she was nursing. It was so adorable. I’ll cherish these memories forever, tears 😭 coming now.
