My daughter is 11 months but recently started grinding / itching her private area on the floor. I know kids get curious about their body’s. But I feel like she’s so young to be already exploring that. HELP. Because I’m thinking the complete worst.

Definitely projecting. Kids do all sorts of weird stuff for reasons, they do also explore their genitals! Could also be that she’s itchy, and needs water only to clean her diaper area.

She’s either uncomfortable (mild yeast infection, clammy from the heat etc), or just exploring her body. Totally normal. I have to tell my 11m old everyday “gentle hands” because he’ll grab his penis while im changing his diaper
