Are fetal dopplers worth it?

I know they can cause anxiety if you use them wrong, but it still sounds awesome to hear the baby’s heartbeat whenever I’m missing it or all up in my head with worry

For me yes. I got VERY experienced with it. And it’s how I knew I lost both my babies at 10+ (different pregnancies) because I couldnt find it. They were missed miscarriages and honestly would’ve dreaded going on being pregnant for weeks and not knowing. With my daughter, I found it as early as 8 weeks and I checked very briefly (seconds) every few days. 
Things to consider: it takes time to get it right, where to look and what sounds to hear for. I watched tons of YouTube videos. 
You CAN over do it. Some people disagree sayings it’s just sound waves but others say if you do it for too long it can be bad for baby. 
If it causes you more anxiety than peace then it’s not worth it. To me, it gave me peace.

Not for me. I have am anterior placenta, and baby is hard to be found even by my doctor. It usually takes up to 4 minutes to track the heartbeat. Never will I ever catch it by myself. 
This also raises my anxiety every time. The good thing is that baby girl is usually active before the appointment.

1000% yes. I’ve had 3 miscarriages before this little nugget and it keeps me sane between ultrasounds and until I can feel movement (I’m 14 weeks)
