Anyone have an anterior placenta? Did it or has it affected your pregnancy?

Anterior placenta is very common, it’s just the name of location of the placenta within the uterus. U may not feel kicks as soon as others, but it isn’t going to affect the health of baby or ur pregnancy.

I have one, it just meant I couldn’t feel baby’s movements until almost 19 weeks. It has no effect on your pregnancy, it just means your placenta is located in front.

I have one. It’s normal. That’s one of the two types of locations for a placenta. It means ours is in the front vs the back and it will be harder to feel movements from baby because the placenta acts as a barrier between you and baby. My doctor told me not to expect much feeling till I was about 33-34 weeks, but I’m 40 weeks and have been feeling baby since around 20ish weeks. Not to worry!

Had one with my daughter and now with my current pregnancy. They say you feel baby later but I felt both my babies super early (19/20w inside, 21w outside with daughter, doctor felt this baby from the outside at 13/14w). Beyond that it doesn't affect anything really

Yes I do. This is pregnancy & baby #5. Only thing for me is it took a little longer to notice real/ noticeable movement of kicks. About 18wks. Although just like that one big sis was talking and rubbing my belly and baby said hello today. I don't think it matters much and this is the only one I remember them telling me placenta placement. As long as it's not blocking or too close to your cervix. Hope all is well for you.
