Gum pain for five years
I've had issues with my gums between the upper left teeth for about five years now and it's only ever been in that spot. Food will get caught between the back two teeth and irritate the gums and won't stop until I floss. Even when I floss I still experience pain and some blood on the floss. This has happened with both poor flossing and flossing every single day, so I don't think it's a poor/over flossing issue. I've complained about it to two separate dentists these past few years and I'm told to keep flossing but I'm tired of the irritation and the pain I'm in when it flairs up. I recently called the oral surgeon I went to a few years ago to see if it could have something to do with a wisdom tooth and was told they took the three I had. Does anyone know why this may be happening and if something is being overlooked? I'm desperate for suggestions that I can ask my dentist to look into.
