Natural or induction?

Okay so this is my 5th baby. With the other 4 I had to be induced for various reasons. My OB is giving me the option of being induced early as baby keeps triggering my asthma. He would induced me at 39 weeks. I am currently 32 weeks. Breathing is hard. I can walk only so far without having to stop to try to breath and at night I wake up gasping for air. So would you be induced or try to wait it our for labor to occur naturally?

I would usually tell people to let it happen naturally but since you have a medical reason i would do induction

Recent research shows that induction at 39 weeks is actually statistically related to better health outcomes for mothers than letting labor come on naturally (Google the ARRIVE study). Guidelines will likely change for OBs to start recommending induction for ALL women at 39 weeks. So I’d say go for the induction especially since you have an additional medical reason to do so!

How did your previous inductions go? If they went smoothly and you have no issues with them, I would do another induction.
