Breastfeeding, how to stop?

Unfortunately my daughter is not doing well with breast milk and breast feeding so I am stopping. She is a month old. I’m trying to dry up and my breasts hurt so bad. I keep expressing a little milk at a time but it doesn’t seem to be relieving the engorged pain for long. Any recommendations how to stop the milk!! With my first daughter she was older and my milk production already slowed down

Just leave ur breasts alone if possible. Stop expressing milk it’s telling your body to produce more. Also don’t even let the water in the shower touch your breasts. Turn your body away from the shower head while your in there. Frozen cabbage leaves on your breasts can help also. Within a week the milk should be all gone.

Tight sports bra and ice packs!

Stop expressing. It’s telling your body to make more milk. I just touched it out and within 4 days I was soooo much better! Tons of Tylenol and ice packs! I kept a nursing bra on at all times.. something a little tight but not too tight.
