Boy name Mack?

Question

I normally do not like the super trendy made up names (so please don’t suggest something like Mackston). I also hate when people spell names with unnecessary letters just to be uNiQuE. 
But I really love Mack! It doesn’t sound trendy to me, and I feel like it’s a name that would fit well throughout all stages of life (baby, child, teen, young adult, middle aged, and elderly). It’s simple, but strong. Mack Joseph. Last name is 2 syllables. What’s the consensus?

I knew a Michael who went by MAC. He was annoyed that his parents gave him such a common name. We had so many Michaels in our class & he refused to go by Michael C lol, so he went by his full initials. I always thought it was a cool name! & a nice change from the popular name Max too!

My brother’s middle name is Mack. My kids call him Uncle Mack. I’ve always loved the name and if I have a boy, that will definitely be his middle name 💙

I wanted to name our boy Malcolm nn Mack but couldn’t get SO on board. So we named our dog Mackey lol. Go for it!

Mack can also be a nickname for Michael if you were looking for a more traditional name. I don’t think Mack alone sounds odd though.

I’ve always liked Mac as a nickname for MacKenzie. I think Mack is a cute stand-alone name too!
