Can someone please pray for me? Losing faith

Question

I’m starting to losing faith in God and question so many things about my religion. I think because I have been spending a lot of time on social media and seeing comments of people questioning God and talking bad, saying Christianity is an oppressive religion. I have defended God against a lot of these comments but it feels like an army against me. I am having a lot of trouble with my faith and I haven’t been living in a Godly way either. Please help! I need prayer. I talked to God last night about my problems and I continue to pray and ask for guidance.

Prayer is definitely a great first move ❤️ do you attend a church or have any friends who have the same views on faith? 
It truly does help to surround ourselves with fellow believers for encouragement and to help us with concerns.

Don't you worry, you are walking the rationality and critical thinking path. It's normal to fear because of all the scare tactics about bad consequences that we are told since we were very little. But it's just religion trying to protect it self. It's like a bad partner last resort saying that you will regret living him. I walked this path and I can say that is very rewarding one, now I have a simpler, lighter and happier life, for example, I still love my neighbor and help society, but not for fear of a higher power but for pure empathy. In other words, do what is best for you, you don't need the grasp into a faith that you don't see logic of meaning anymore, you are not alone there is a lot of people out there who walked this same road and will help you if you need it.

It's okay to doubt and question things. In fact, God tells us to, so that in the end, we come out with stronger faith. But I would suggest stepping away from social media to recharge and read your Bible or a devotional. For now, I hope you take comfort in the below verses. And I also suggest reading Ephesians 6:10-20.
"Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith. Examine yourselves. Or do you yourselves not recognize that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless you fail the test. And I hope you will recognize that we do not fail the test. Now we pray to God that you do nothing wrong—not that we may appear to pass the test, but that you may do what is right, even though we may appear to fail." 
2 Corinthians 13:5-7
