Yesterday at my sons weight check he had gained a pound in 2weeks! He also grew half an inch. We did everything the doctors asked us to do plus added a bottle of formula a day. The doctors think the formula and the oatmeal (made with formula) is what helped him finally gain weight, so we are officially switching to formula. We’re currently using the rest of our freezer stash and adding two bottles of formula a day until the breast milk is gone.

I’m so happy he’s finally gaining. He’s still in the 6th percentile but the doctors are very positive and say he’s finally on the right track.

In other news, since I’ve stopped breast feeding but boobs are killing me. I’ve been icing them every 2 hours and I’m wearing a tight supportive bra. I’m ready for the milk to dry up and for my boobs to fit in my old bras again.
