Since my husband works for Toyota and we’re a Toyota family I say Toyota. But based on price I say, Ford or Chevy may be more doable. But and older Toyota would last just as long haha.

Subaru!! I’ve got the 2022 outback and my husband has the legacy. We will never buy anything other than Subaru. The safety features are top notch.

My bf has a psych degree AND an automotive degree. He swears by Chevy and GMC. They have fair prices but you’d still have better value if you find a used one! Idk if you want a compact SUV or something else but they have lots of models. I would go to a dealership to see the cars even if you look for your car online. You could go sit in a showroom car haha.
