Is your June babe forward facing yet?

I’m asking cause according to my sons car seat he can already be forward facing…. hubby wants to switch him cause it’s a struggle everytime to get him in and so he can sit alone in the back without complaining cause he can’t really hear us… lol those are his reasonings….I’m a little hesitant, I do and I don’t want to change him 🤔

I don’t care how much my son dislikes rear facing, it is so much safer to keep them rear facing until height or weight limit is maxed out. Look up Safe in the Seat, she has a ton of info on this!

We forward faced him maybe 3 weeks before his 2nd birthday. He’s met the requirements since way before his 1st birthday but we waited until right before his 2nd. He lasts so much longer in his car seat now and he’s a lot more content. When he was rear facing I always had to go in the back with him because of how bad he got.

We are forward facing, my girl is 37lbs and 35 inches and it was getting to be a struggle to get her into her seat. She also couldn’t stand to cross her legs in her seat 🤷‍♀️

Jaxson is still rear facing. My car seat goes to 40lbs and 40 inches. I think he's like 34 lbs right now

I wasn’t going to switch until she maxed out, but we’ve been driving our truck and it’s either I’m shoved into the dashboard cross legged or forward facing. So I turned mine in my car too because it’s easier to hand her things when it’s just me driving and she can see what I see now. Haven’t had a crying car ride since.

So I wish I could turn my girlie around. She only weighs like 22lbs, to the point her ped is having us push certain drinks to help her gain weight or we have to see a GI specialist & she’d have to do blood work. It’s sad. So for the time she’s rear facing because she’s just still so little….

We started forward facing at 1 (yes it’s legal in my state) we originally started forward facing because he would stop breathing and not needed to be able to see him at all times
