When did you drive after a csection ?

I hate relying on people to do things for me! I can’t wait to do my own errands 😫

I drove a week PP. My Dr. told me as long as I wasn’t taking the narcotics prescribed I could drive.

I was cleared at my 2 week check-ups after both of my c-sections.

I did after 2 weeks when I was able to walk better lol but apparently it’s 4 weeks

Probably a week at most maybe 5 days. My baby had to stay in the hospital and I had to drive back and forth.

With my first it was probably 4 weeks but I really didn't have to drive. With my second it was 2 weeks because my oldest was in pre-k so I had to get him to school. I just had to be really careful getting in and out of the car. I was literally just driving though, I did grocery pickup so I wasn't going in stores at the time.

I specifically asked my doctor and she told me to wait until I got cleared at my 2 week PP appointment. As soon as she cleared me, I gave it a go and it was fine.
