Has anyone had TMJ issues while pregnant?

I think I may be experiencing it and I’m wondering what all you did to help says it takes a couple weeks to go away! Any comments would be appreciated 😊

I've had TMD for a few years. I've had a mouth guard, numbing creams, teeth removed for no reason, botox in the muscles surrounding the joint and now waiting on surgery. I'm 35 weeks pregnant and the only thing that has eased the pain is painkillers. Low dose of strong painkillers. I will admit its different for everyone and I'd 100% ask your doctors and midwife before you take anything just to make sure it's safe for you and baby.

I did with my second. I used a mouth guard when I slept, that helped a ton. My favorites are the Plackers Grind No More.
