Polyp in uterus?

I am currently in the process on being a surrogate mother. I was screened and approved, but then 3 weeks later on my ultrasound, they found a polyp. I’m devastated. The nurse told me it’s nothing to worry about and I shouldn’t stress. I will hear from the doctor on Monday. Can someone reassure me this is common and I shouldn’t worry too much? I’m honestly panicking. Has anyone gotten pregnant after polyp removal? I feel terrible for my intended parents since this is a delay in the process. Ugh I’m a mess.
