Have you ever accidentally hurt your child?

My 3 year old was having a temper tantrum and trying to hit me. I got up to walk away from him and my knee busted into his face and I busted his lip open. I feel so awful and I can’t stop crying. He keeps saying “mommy kicked me”.

I'm sure there isn't anyone with children who hasn't accidentally hurt them. With my kids, they like when I pretend I am going to drop them while holding holding. So I was holding my 2 y/o, went to pretend to drop and catch him but at the exact same time I went to play drop him, he threw himself backward to hang upside down. So what happened was I ended up accidentally body slamming him into the floor. He's tough as freaking nails, though, that kid. Just laughed about it and wanted me to pick him up again. My 4 y/o and 1 y/o barely get a little scratch and think they're dying. But I am constantly worried my middle kid is gonna break a toe or finger and I'll have no idea because he never cries. 
Another time when my 4 y/o was about 18 months old and I was 6 months pregnant, we were coming in from swimming. He liked to take off running, still wet and make me catch him. I was 6 months pregnant and did not want to catch him so I threw the towel over him, expecting him to stop running. Except he didn't and ran face first into a door frame. Had a huge goose-egg on his forehead for a while. I felt so bad. 
And one time, my sister slipped her arm through the handle of her carseat to carry it and elbowed her 2 month old baby right in the face. She felt really bad!

Yes 🤣 my 2yo was throwing a fit and I tried to grab him but he threw himself right into the door frame and busted his lip and forehead open. Last week I was changing my 5 month old on the couch and my 2 yo tried grabbed the shit out of my 5 month olds diaper. I grabbed my 2yo and as soon as I took my hands off my 5 month old he rolled off 🤦‍♀️ it all happened so fast and before I knew it I had a baby screaming on the floor and my 2yo eating shit.

My son was pushing this little ikea toy cart once when he was little. It had a metal handle. 
I came up behind him and tickled his shoulders and he laughed, threw his head forward and hit his two front teeth on it 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
His two front teeth ending up dying (thank god they were baby teeth)
He told people “mommy pushed me” all the time. 😩
I couldn’t wait for the day he lost those two teeth 😂

I was vacuuming the other day in a right hallway and my daughter came running by trying to squeeze past me at the same time I was pulling the vacuum back and I smacked her right in the face with the vacuum. It happens 😂 it’s awful but it’s life

I just kneed my 11m old in the face while trying to get to my 2 year old before he threw up. I didn’t make it to him and I knocked her on her ass. She cried more than he did after puking. 😭😩

Several times if I’m being honest. Accidents happen all the time. Hell, they accidentally hurt each other. And me lol. Cant count the amount of times I’ve accidentally hit their head on the car door or even a door frame 😅. I’m sure hearing him say that absolutely broke your heart. But he’ll get over it soon. Just be sure to tell him you’re sorry and didn’t mean to and don’t get upset with him when he accidentally does things. He’ll learn that accidents happen and it’s okay.

Rofl yeah stuff like that happens. Gave my daughter a black eye once because she kept knocking stuff off the table durring a tantrum. The last time she went to go knock something off I swung my arm back to grab it before she could knock it down and ended up elbowing her directly in the face

When my daughter was around 1, she was sticking her hand out of her crib and I was pretending to bite her fingers…until I accidentally did. I felt bad so bad when she started crying. I also dropped my phone on her face when she was a newborn 
I haven’t done anything to my 9 month old son yet but I’m sure that’ll change soon lol
