Water birth ?

So today at my appointment, I made a statement that I’ve never carried to 40 weeks. Which is when my doctor says “We’ll don’t worry about that, we usually induce at 38 anyways.” I then asked about water birth because my hospital has the whirlpools, and they told me they’d let me go as natural as I wanted and try water birth as long as she and my body cooperated. So basically my question is, if they induce, can I do water birth? Or is this only an option if she comes on her own? I for sure want to labor in the tubs, and deliver her as well if possible.
