I’ve been a 3yr old teacher at the same school going on 5 years. There is no room for growth within the company. No chance of a raise because I get free child care for my 2 yr old.

I was offered a director position on the administration team at a different school. Perks

*2 dollars more a hour starting out

*room to move up in the company

The only thing holding me up is the fact I have to pull my son from teachers he LOVES and friends he’s had since the infant room. I’m so nervous when it comes to change. ESPECIALLY with my son. I know it sounds like a GREAT opportunity. I’m just nervous. What if it doesn’t work out and I give up my position when I’m at and then can’t come back. What if my son doesn’t adjust or isn’t happy with the new teachers/environment. I’ll be working at the new school where he will be.
