Sex after D&C?

I’d really appreciate your opinion and experience. I had a D&C exactly a week ago after we found out I had a silent miscarriage. Everything went really well and I never had ANY pain down there. The first day or two I had some extremely light back pain. Even my bleeding has been extremely minimal. I’ve mostly just spotted. Most days I don’t bleed at all. (For instance today I haven’t bled at all) My follow up appointment isn’t until the 27th and it’s going to be telehealth. My thing is that I’d really like to be intimate with my husband again because I feel like it’d really help me but I’m worried that she told me to wait two weeks. Then again my doctor isn’t even going to physically examine me so I don’t know what the sign is that you can have sex again. I read that the cervix heals/closes after 2-3 days so I should be fine as long as im not in pain, right? Im not in any pain or discomfort at all. Help please!
