10 day trip without kids!??

My Husband and I have the opportunity to take a 10 day trip (13 with travel) to the Philippines the end of next year without of kids. 
Our children will be 5, 3, 1.5 should we go?

If you have a trusted adult who babysat them before and has experience with children ... sure!

I wouldn’t be able to handle that. 13 days is a lot and it’s not like you’re a few hours away. I know it sucks. I gave up the different continent travels and will only travel family friendly places for a few years.

My husband and i did five days. I loved every childfree second as im the stay at home mom and i loved getting to be charlene a wife and not charlene the mom. My husband was a disaster n had us sitting in the mall at noon waiting around until we could drop our car off at 8 and then sitting in the airport till the red eye we booked because he couldnt wait to get back haha. My daughter was 3 at the time and she stayed at home which we happened in live in the basement at the in laws and my parents also stayed so she had all four grandparents plus our siblings but she still really struggled!  My parents said by day four she was really struggling wouldnt even leave the house in case we came back and even made my dad cry that night when she went into our bedroom took a picture of us off my table and held it crying and said my mommy n daddy love me 😭. So ten days no but a kid free vacation is a good recharge for parents
