I’m 38+6, 3cm dilated, and my doc did a membrane sweep at 11 this morning. I’ve been having cramps for 3 days now, and they just feel a little harder after the sweep.

I was induced with my first child so I knew that I was having contractions of course. How do I distinguish cramps and contractions? I feel pain all in my abdomen and hips, and the top of my belly feels like she’s going to bust out of it.. but it’s not hard to just breathe through and nothing consistent with time.
