I exclusive breast feed my daughter but I’m feeling overwhelmed and would like to supplement.. what is the best formula to use?

You will have to pump in replace of those missed nursing sessions. So in actuality it is just easier to nurse. So much more work when you supplement. Plus it can easily mess with your supply.

I don’t know if I was just dumb but we decided to supplement while my milk supply is increasing (I had a dip around 3/4 months) we tried to just give a bottle full of formula and he was not having it. Mix it 3/4 breastmilk 1/4 formula for a week or two, then 1/2&1/2 for a couple weeks and so on if you want to transition fully.

I put the haakaa on the opposite boob while I breastfeed my daughter. It usually catches 2-4oz. I then put it into a bottle and will give it to my daughter as a top off if I feel like she is still hungry after nursing. 
I like that I don’t feel like my boob is totally drained too so that I can still feel confident nursing baby on that side if need be.
