So worried now…
Hi guys!
Hoping to get some advice.
My doctor called and said my testing for Down syndrome came back and it was 1 in 4,500 so it was perfect and they don’t suspect baby has Down syndrome.
Well he said that my PAPP-A is low and that the trisomy 18 marker is 1 in 100, well mine came back 1 in 150.. he said the “normal” would’ve been “i in 4,000” so very close to them thinking baby could have it. It was not NIPT it was a sequential screening. He offered to do the NIPT testing for a more accurate answer.
Is this something to worry about? Does it seem that baby could have this if it didn’t make the mark? Help!
